The road to Ouarzazate crosses the Tizi n'Tichka at 2,260 metres, and it is the most demanding drive we run: three and a half hours of switchbacks with lorries on the inside line. Ait Ben Haddou sits 30 kilometres before town and is worth the detour, which is why we build it into the trip rather than treating it as an extra.
