Imlil is where the road stops and the Toubkal trail starts, 60 kilometres and about 75 minutes from the city through Asni. Trekkers leave early and come back tired, so this route is built around baggage room and dependable timing rather than sightseeing stops.

Departures before dawn are normal for Toubkal and cost the same as any other hour.
Rucksacks and boots take more room than suitcases. Give us the group size and we send a vehicle that takes the kit.
In winter the last stretch above Asni can hold snow. We check the road before setting out.
